COVID-19 Response

Please use this page to stay up to date with Cornerstone announcements regarding our response to the Coronavirus.

At this time, we have decided to suspend regular worship services and other in-person gatherings such as Bible Study and choir rehearsals.

Virtual Worship will take place on Sundays at 10 AM via our Facebook page:

June 15, 2020 Note from Reverend Pruner regarding new state guidelines and reopening:

Cornerstone Presbyterian Church will be delaying re-opening for two reasons. First, being that re-opening only allows for 25%capacity we would not be able to welcome all who come to worship. Waiting will allow for more capacity, in hopes not to turn anyone away. Second, during this time of lockdown we have contracted to make needed repairs to the steeple. Such repairs will be made with ease and haste without us around. We are planning towards a re-opening for July 12th.

While we are not meeting for regular worship, there are still several options available for giving to the church.

  • Set up online giving for recurring donations through bank transfer or credit card
  • Download the Give+ mobile app to make a one-time or recurring donation from your mobile device
  • Make a donation via PayPal
  • Regular offerings can also be mailed to Cornerstone at 569 Harmony Road, Jackson, NJ 08527

Women’s Bible Study is meeting on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 AM via ZOOM.  All women are welcome!  Please contact Elizabeth Hughes for information on how to join.

Youth Group for kids in middle school and high school is meeting via ZOOM at 11:30 AM on Sundays starting on April 19th. All youth are encouraged to join for a time of fellowship to connect with their friends.  Contact Allyson Moyer for information.

We are connecting with our elementary-aged children for Sunday School lessons to continue during this time. The older kids (grades 3-5) will meet on Zoom on Sunday afternoons.  For the younger children (PreK-2nd grade) there will be a video posted on Facebook to tell the story for the week, and the craft materials for that lesson will be delivered to the child’s home.  If you would like for your child to participate, please contact Kathe Morrison or Megan LaFontaine.

While we are practicing social distancing by being physically apart, we will stand together as a church throughout this challenging time!  Please reach out if you are in need of special assistance, and send prayer requests to us via text (732-580-3137), phone call (732-928-2424) or email at
