We are very excited to have returned to in-person worship! Visit our eventbrite page to make reservations, and please contact us if you have any questions. You can also watch our service virtually on our Facebook page on Sundays at 10 AM (or anytime after).
While we are practicing social distancing by being physically apart with a combination of live and virtual worship, we will stand together as a church throughout this challenging time! Please reach out if you are in need of special assistance, and send prayer requests to us via text (732-580-3137), phone call (732-928-2424) or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
GRAND CELEBRATION WEEKEND – May 22-23, 2021
Mark your calendars now for a Grand Celebration Weekend at Cornerstone!
On Saturday, May 22nd we will be gathering after worship for a “Picnic Supper“ at 6 PM before we go inside to watch the Villages in Partnership Water Walk Presentation. How awesome to connect with our partners in mission as we mark ten years as a part of this vital mission!
This year is the 20th anniversary of the beginnings of Cornerstone! On Pentecost Sunday, May 23rd, we will mark this milestone by dedicating our Per Capita offering to God. The Per Capita offerings of years ago helped to bring to life our Cornerstone Church. Join in the “Grand Celebration” as we celebrate the birthday of the Christian church, the 20th Anniversary of Cornerstone and the blessing of being a part of the PCUSA, a connectional church. Following worship we will have cupcakes and coffee, iced tea, lemonade and fellowship. Mark you calendars for May 23rd so you don’t miss this great day of worship and fellowship!
Water Walk 2021: We hope you will join us on TEAM HARMONY as we participate for the 10th year in the Villages in Partnership Water Walk! This is a virtual event again this year due to COVID, so there will be a livestream on Saturday, May 22nd at 7 PM, and we are planning to have a fellowship meal beforehand and then watch together as a team! For those who are interested, we will also be participating in a walking challenge in the 2-week period starting on May 8th (that part is optional!) – so we will get together at least one time to walk with buckets on our head! PLEASE consider joining us as we raise funds and awareness to help the people in the remote villages of Malawi, Africa, by improving their access to clean water, sanitation training, education and health care. Please talk to Elizabeth for more information or visit the Water Walk page on our website for exactly what it means to join the team! Donations can be made online or at church (mark your donation VIP). This is our team page if you’d like to join or support us online:

Shop Rite Card Fundraiser: Many thanks to Laura Stone and Barbara Dougherty who have taken over the sale of Shop Rite cards to benefit the church. Over the years, we have raised $13,940 from the sale of Shop Rite cards! Please contact Elizabeth, Barbara or Laura if you would like to arrange to meet at the church to purchase cards during the week!

Our Per Capita Offering is being collected for 2021. Per capita is an amount of money per member (this year, $40.00) that our congregation pays to our larger Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This offering allows us to work with other churches to further the mission of Jesus Christ around the world. Per Capita also helps to prepare future ministers to faithfully answer their call from God. As Presbyterians, we believe that we need each other as we work together to and discern the mind of Christ for the PC(USA). We encourage all members to make their Per Capita offering at your earliest convenience – it can be given all at once or in small increments throughout the year. Please place your offering in the offering plate marked “per capita.” Thank you!
